Jobs in Portland: Commercial real estate firm, located in Downtown Portland, seeks a Property Management Bookkeeper to join its team. Job duties include, but are not limited to, processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and security deposits, preparation of monthly financial statements, reconciliation of bank accounts, assist in the inputting of property budgets and expense reconciliations. Hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Requirements for this position include: - 3 to 5 years property management bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of general ledger accounting. - Positive attitude, outgoing personality, and professional demeanor. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. - Must be organized, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook required. - Candidates with a four-year college degree in accounting and previous experience working with Yardi property management software will be given additional consideration.
