?2.05m paid for Cambridge retail investment | Business Weekly ...

Bidwells has sold a rare prime Cambridge retail investment for ?2.05 million on behalf of a private investor.

9 Market Street, Cambridge is currently let to multiple retailer Office Shoes until 2018 at a rent of ?110,000 per annum.

The property was acquired by a private property company, with the deal showing a net yield of five per cent. Michael Sharron & Co acted for the purchaser.

The tenant Office Shoes first opened in 1981 and currently retails from 87 standalone units as well as 47 concessionary shops.

For the year ending January 2012, Office Holdings Ltd showed an increased turnover of ?205 million (January 2011 turnover ?165m).
