A Delta Air Lines flight attendant was removed from flying Wednesday morning after a TSA agent at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport thought he was acting "unusual"
The incident happened at the security checkpoint. The flight attendant was scheduled to work Delta Flight 1266 to Atlanta. Delta says it removed the crew member from the flight.
Passengers waited in the gate area until another flight attendant joined the crew.
Delta Air Lines issued this statement regarding the incident:
"Delta was contacted by the TSA early Wednesday morning re: an allegation that a flight attendant appeared unfit for duty. Delta takes these allegations very seriously and is working to confirm if the allegation is accurate. As a precaution, the attendant was removed from flying. Delta apologizes for the delay customers on Flight 1266 encountered while traveling to Atlanta."
